Let's Visit the Funko Store in Hollywood!

While searching for a public restroom in Hollywood last year, I stumbled upon the Funko store.

I’m not a big Funko collector (I have a Kermit the Frog Funko that greets me at my desk every workday), but I thought it would be cool to explore the store while I was in there.

The store was packed, with children and adults running around to explore every corner and wall lined with Funko Pop! vinyl figures. The store had a generally open floor plan with various rooms all themed to different franchises, movies, pop culture icons, and more. There were lots of life-size Funko Pop! figures, Instagrammable backdrops and props, and a plethora of Funko merchandise from figures to t-shirts scattered around the store.

Right when I entered, I was greeted by notable heroes and foes of Wakanda.

Not far from the entrance was the big baddie himself, Thanos.

Cue the dramatic lighting.

The Disney section was at the front and center of the store!

I had to stop by and say hi to my girl Ariel.

Golden hour works under the sea, too.

In another room was the 80s section.

There was another section dedicated to all things Toy Story.

Sports!

Catching up with an old friend! Or two! Or three!

That completes our mini tour around Funko Hollywood! I tried to take more photos at more backdrops, but it was tough with other people hanging around.

I didn’t end up buying anything, but I enjoyed walking around and taking pictures like a tourist for a bit!

Where should I visit next?
