Fall Favorites 2023

We’re so back. It’s finally time to go over my list of favorites from this past fall!

I’ve been obsessed with The Beaches’ new album, Blame My Ex, playing it on repeat nearly every day. It was hard to pick one song for the blog, but I felt like this one fit the vibe the best.

It’s a Trader Joe’s Fall

For reasons known only to Trader Joe himself, half of the items on this list are from TJ’s. Their commitment to delivering fall items remains unmatched.

Harvest Blend Herbal Tea

Unable to resist a new tea flavor, I tried this new Harvest Blend caffeine-free tea and it’s phenomenal. It tastes just like fall— cozy and crisp with strong spices such as cinnamon, apple, and ginger. It’s perfect for a chilly autumn morning or for getting cozy on a cool night. I must stock up during my next Trader Joe’s trip before it goes away.

Figo! Half Dipped Chocolate & Vanilla Sandwich Bars

I’ve seen this ice cream countless times, but I finally bit the bullet and tried it out a couple of months ago. It tastes surprisingly really good! At first, I was mad that only half of it was dipped in chocolate, but it’s a good balance of chocolate, cookies, and ice cream. The smaller size is a perfect portion for a sweet treat after a meal.

Non-Dairy Pumpkin Oat Beverage

The first time I tried this drink was in 2021 when I had just started at my current job and I tried making overnight oats for the first time. When experimenting for my first few 4 am Sunday shifts, I added this pumpkin oat drink to my oats, and it resulted in the yummiest, pumpkin oats! The pumpkin flavor is subtle and not too sweet. The drink itself is so great that I even enjoy drinking it on its own.

Ghosts and Bats Crispy Potato Snacks

I love the crunch of these chips! They’re light, airy, ghostly, and their shape is fun, too. I especially love that my fingers don’t get too greasy after snacking on a bag. This is the perfect spooky snack that gets me in the Halloween spirit.

Let’s shift away from TJ’s products and see what else I enjoyed in the fall~

Refy Duo Face Brush

I’ve been eyeing this brush for a while and I finally splurged! I love the duo-ended feature, suitable for different needs. I use the shorter, more condensed end for cream blushes and bronzer while the fluffier side for blending foundation, skin tint, and highlighter. I’m not sure if that’s the intended use of each end, but I’ve found success with it (the fun part about makeup is that there are no rules! If I mess up, I can always do it over again).

Protein Pancakes

To increase my protein intake and eat a more balanced diet, I ate a lot of protein pancakes in the fall. I especially love the store-bought boxes that only require you to add water. Trader Joe’s sells a box but I also enjoyed other brands from other grocery stores. It’s such an easy and quick breakfast that keeps me full for hours. I like to add chocolate chips, cinnamon, berries, bananas, and maple syrup, too.

Mushroom Mug

Although I bought this mug a couple of years ago, it’s still one of my favorites that I still use almost every day. The mug, which has a detachable mushroom lid, is so adorable! I also have a mushroom spoon rest (it has a few chips now, but I still use and love it!). There’s no better way to bring in the fall season while enjoying a hot cup of tea with my mushroom mug.

Pure Enhancement Mini Air Purifier

I found this mini air purifier online and I’ve been obsessed with it. It’s small and portable, and perfect to bring with me on car rides, at restaurants, in the office, at the library, and in other public settings where I want a little extra protection. It has two different filters to purify the air, including a True HEPA filter that helps to remove dust, dander, pet hair, pollen, mold spores, and smoke in the air.

I feel incredibly safer from airborne viruses with this, and I cannot recommend it enough. Although I’m sure it doesn’t get rid of 100% of the dangers in the air, the peace of mind it gives me alone makes this purchase worth it.

That’s what I’ve enjoyed this past fall!

Have you tried anything on this list? Anything you’re going to try this winter? Let me know!

Thank you for your patience on this and other blogs as I’ve navigated moving to a new city.

As always, until we speak next time, friends~
